After being almost giddy at getting my package from you today, I felt compelled to share the story behind my purchase.
My mission was simple (or so I thought):
Add one last charm to my 14K “ocean” themed charm bracelet.
How hard could it be? All I wanted was a single, vintage 14K seashell charm, reasonably priced (even with gold at $600 per ounce!)
After spending hours trolling an extremely popular online auction site (I won’t say their name, but you know who I mean), I found just one charm. So I asked the seller to provide the charm’s weight. Once. Twice. Three times. Finally, they provided the info I needed — right after the end of the auction.
I started to furiously surf the web— and finally found a show-stopping 14K gold conch charm on your web site. You answered my question with lightening speed during a holiday weekend when most people take off from work (do you sleep next to your computer?)
I received the charm today. Even my husband, who is not a true jewelry aficionado, was impressed. Don’t be surprised if you get business from him next!

My Experience with Owner, Todd Bello, Boston Private Jewelers
A few days prior to Christmas, 2005, after searching many-a-websites and eBay auctions, I happened onto the website for Boston Private Jewelers. I was particularly impressed with the simple, easy to read and navigate web design. It didn’t take long to find the four pages of vintage charms; the selection and specifications on each charm were so clear and concise.
Living in Massachusetts, I was hoping to be able to pick the charms I’d fallen in love with up. Christmas was two days away and I knew the mail would never work that quickly. I sent Boston Private Jewelers an email requesting a meeting in person to pick up the charms. A few hours later, I got a personal note from Todd Bello, the Owner, agreeing to meet with me that same evening.
The quality of the merchandise was exactly as the site had described and pictured; even better.
Christmas Eve I found another charm from the site I’d wanted to purchase. At 11:00 p.m., Todd personally delivered it to my doorstep; all in time for the long-awaited day!
